I love traveling and I love helping people travel, for less.
I’m currently traveling in and around Asia and hope to document some of my experiences and how to travel in Asia for cheap.
Whether you’re traveling to see somewhere new or visit a loved one, I hope you save a lot of money and have the best possible experience.
I’d like to help you with your next trip! No fees, no frills, you book everything yourself. If you have questions on anything travel-related, shoot me an email. If you want me to help you book a trip, shoot me an email. If you end up saving some money, you can give it to charity, support us, or keep it and tell your friends about us!

For the last 7 years, I traveled around the U.S. putting on events. 4 of those years I did it under my own company. In just a few short years, I’ve booked over 100 trips out of my own pocket.. both Domestic and International.
Because my startup was always self-funded, we didn’t have a lot of money. Everything was bootstrapped. But the nature of my work required me to be in various cities almost every week for meetings and planning.
Early on, Spirit Airlines was my go-to and I grew to love in that love-hate relationship. If I had to book hotels, I tried to find cheap room-sharing airbnb’s or slept in airports. If I had to get somewhere, I walked or booked the cheapest car rental I could find.
I’ve flown with half my clothes on me to save on baggage costs, walked for miles to avoid cab rides, stayed in airports to avoid paying for hotels, and have done unthinkable things to save money!
Considering an average trip is usually easily over $1000 total for flight, accommodation, and transportation, I had to learn how to travel for less quickly.
Over the years, I’ve significantly improved my travel experiences yet kept my spending low.
In just the past year, I’ve flown over 12 business class flights, visited over 20 different lounges, and have stayed in nice accommodations for cheap. I’ve also booked very pleasant travel experiences for family and friends at a significantly lower price.
This blog discusses the various ways I’ve traveled well, for less.
My Pain, Your Gain!
Whether you’re just solo-trekking around the globe or you’re sharing an experience with loved ones, I hope my 7 years of finding ways to travel cheap will help you travel well, for less.
I’ve spent years learning the complexities of airline policies, points, hidden costs, hotels, transportation, travel hacks, travel deals, and anything related to travel so I can save money and travel more (and better) for less.
Down the road, I’d like to shift the focus of this site towards traveling with purpose. What that means is traveling not just to experience new cultures or new places but traveling to be involved with the needs of the world outside of our own. That’s what I’m really excited and most passionate about… because I believe life is fuller when we think about ourselves a little bit less.
I know a lot of people who probably travel more than I do for leisure out of pocket. If you’d like to contribute any insight you have to the site, I’d love to have the opportunity to speak with you.
Where I’ve Been / Guest Post Opportunities
I have not gotten around to writing about all of them but if you have a guest post opportunity, I’d be happy to write for your blog (about one of the destinations I’ve traveled to below or anything travel related) and link that article onto this page.
